Naboisho Camp Masai Mara is a small intimate safari camp set in the 50,000-acre private Mara Naboisho Conservancy, bordering the Masai Mara Game Reserve to the north and the Olare Orok Conservancy to the east.
The conservancy boasts the wildlife it homes, with over 100 lions living in the vicinity, the conservancy has one of the highest lion densities in the world. Also living among the plains is an abundance of Elephants, Giraffes, Wildebeest, Zebra, and over 250 species of species.
The Camp can be reached either by road or by air. The distance from Nairobi to Masai Mara is approximately 250 km. It takes around 5-6 hours by road while flying time takes about 45 minutes. The nearest airstrip to the camp is Ol Seki which is a 45 minutes drive away (5 km).
There are 9 luxurious tented suites, each with a seating area, work desk, in-room lockable box, carpeted floors, furnished private verandah, and an en-suite bathroom with indoor-outdoor bucket shower, flush toilet, dual sink vanity, mirror, and privacy screen for dressing.
Each tent also benefits by having its own personal butler and a private veranda with a comfortable day bed, perfect to enjoy the pristine wilderness after an exciting day of game activities.
Naboisho Camp Masai Mara has an open veranda-styled dining area that serves a variety of homemade meals. The thatched lounge provides a splendid vantage point of the nearby waterhole, and meals are served to sights and sounds of the Kenyan wilderness. Guests can order a wide range of alcoholic and soft drinks from the fully stocked bar.
The camp is designed to be as open as possible, taking full advantage of the Mara surroundings. Spot zebra or impala from its thatched-roof main lounge and dining area or swimming pool and dine with the sights and sounds of the bush as your entertainment, be it the whoops of hyenas at night or the fluttering of weaver birds in the morning.
Naboisho Camp Masai Mara activities include; game drives, walking safaris, bush picnics, fly camping, Maasai village visits, horse riding, and hot air balloon safaris. Children’s activities include animal tracking, bush walks, playing traditional games, learning bush skills, and local folklore of life in the bush.
