Fairmont Mara Safari Club Masai Mara lies in the north-west of the Masai Mara Game Reserve at the foot of the Aitong Hills in a Private Conservation Area called the Ol–Choro Oiroua ranch.

The camp offers life under a tent… with five-star luxury, approximately 250 km from Nairobi and a 10-minute drive from Ngerende airstrip; at your feet, the hippos. Yes! All tents have their own private river frontage with a viewing deck from where hippos and crocodiles are regularly seen.

Fairmont Mara Safari Club Masai Mara has 51 luxury tents, each with a four-poster bed and pillow-top mattress, an in-room safe, minibar, mosquito net, fan, wireless telephone, a veranda overlooking the hippo- and crocodile-filled river, and 3-piece en-suite facilities with solar-heated hot and cold running water.

Fairmont Mara Safari Club has an indoor Masai Mara restaurant, bar, and library. A spacious outside deck overhangs the river and leads to a heated pool, complete with a bar and private massage tents. There is outdoor dining enhanced by a boma, a structure influenced by traditional homesteads, where guests can enjoy a cultural dinner reflecting not only African cuisine but also rich musical accompaniment.

The lounge is sectioned off to create ‘private’ seating areas, with African-flavored decor, and has woven wall hangings and Masai artifacts. An extended veranda adjoins the lounge to afford superb views of the Mara River. A fire is lit each evening and is the ideal venue for the Masai dancers, slide shows, and lectures.

The hotel has a swimming pool with sunbeds and mattresses. The pool bar is a shaded area, with bar stools set around the curved structure. A barbecue pit is located close to the bar. All alcoholic drinks and non-alcoholic drinks, as well as light snacks and outdoor lunches, are served here.

The Fairmont Mara Safari Club offers 119 square meters of meeting space in a conference tent with audio-visual equipment and Wi-fi connectivity to meet the needs of meetings.
