Lewa Wildlife Conservancy 2 Days 1 Night Safari takes you by road to Lewa Downs Wildlife Conservancy located on along Isiolo Road, 2 km from Meru – Isiolo and Isiolo – Nanyuki junction.
Lewa Downs Wildlife Conservancy is approximately 260 km from Nairobi on a paved road. The Conservancy has lions, hyenas, leopards, wild dogs, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, ostrich, oryx, gerenuk and Grevy zebra.
Bird life on the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy includes ostrich, falcons, sunbirds and much more.
Conservancy activities include Game viewing – both day and night drives, bird watching, bush walks with local guides and lion tracking
Others activities include visits to local villages, visiting the pre-historic archaeological site and fly fishing (weather permitting).
Additional activities include participation in wildlife management activities, educational talks on the history and day-to-day operation of the conservancy, massage and beauty therapy, sun-downers, bush meals and game watching from blinds.
There are also aerial and helicopter rides and visits to nearby attractions and ranches.

Day 1: Nairobi – Drive to Lewa Downs Conservancy
Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive northwards to Lewa Downs Conservancy where elephants roam alongside graceful reticulated giraffes, giant eland, all the big cats, and one of the world’s last great population of black rhinos.
After lunch at the camp, we enjoy an afternoon game drive. The conservancy is home to the Big Five, both Black Rhino and White Rhino and Sitatunga.
The park is one of Kenya’s last remaining habitats, Grevy Zebra: 25% of the worlds remaining population & Greater Kudu.
And for bird lovers, there are 440 species of bird that have been recorded here.
There are several lodges within the Conservancy. You also have an opportunity to enjoy a Night game drive tonight.
