Day 1: Nairobi – Fly to Lewa Conservancy (Game Drives & Night Safari) 

0630 Hours – 0800 Hours: Depart Wilson Airport, Nairobi, for a scheduled light aircraft flight to Lewa Downs Airstrip

0800 Hours – 0930 Hours: Arrive at Lewa, met by safari guide for a scenic game drive en route to the lodge

1230 Hours – 1300 Hours: Arrive at the luxury lodge/camp for check-in and lunch

1300 Hours – 1530 Hours: Time for relaxation, enjoying camp facilities, or viewing wildlife from the lounge/blind

1530  Hours – 1830 Hours: Afternoon/Evening game drive in the conservancy (searching for rhino, cheetah, and Grevy’s zebra)

1830 Hours – 1930 Hours: Transition into a night game drive to spot nocturnal animals

1930 Hours – 2030 Hours: Return to the camp for dinner and overnight stay

Day 2: Lewa Conservancy – Morning Activity & Fly to Nairobi 

0600 Hours – 0630 Hours: Early morning tea/coffee

0630 Hours – 0830 Hours: Morning game drive (predator tracking) or optional bush walk/horseback ride

0900 Hours – 1000 Hours: Return to the camp for a full breakfast

Day 1: Nairobi – Drive to Lewa Downs Conservancy

Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive northwards to Lewa Downs Conservancy, where elephants roam alongside graceful reticulated giraffes, giant eland, all the big cats, and one of the world’s last great populations of black rhinos.

After lunch at the camp, we enjoy an afternoon game drive. The conservancy is home to the Big Five, both Black Rhino and White Rhino, and Sitatunga.

The park is one of Kenya’s last remaining habitats for Grevy’s Zebra (25% of the world’s remaining population & Greater Kudu.

And for bird lovers, there are 440 species of birds that have been recorded here.

There are several lodges within the Conservancy.  You also have an opportunity to enjoy a Night game drive tonight.
