Scheduled flights from Nairobi Wilson Airport to Nanyuki Airstrip take 35 minutes, followed by a road transfer to Segera in a closed vehicle that takes 2 hours. Charter flights to Segera airstrip take 45 minutes from Nairobi, with a few minutes’ transfer.

Nay Palad Bird Nest is an accommodation like no other, located in Segera Retreat in Laikipia, raised in the air, and offering a 360-degree bird’s-eye view of the surrounding wilderness. The Zeitz Foundation and Segera Ranger Force help provide a secure sanctuary and research monitoring of the species.
