3 Days Masai Mara Students Educational Safari; This is a Wildlife Conservation and Ecology holiday for students to Kenya. This short 3 Day Safari allows students to experience first-hand the wonders of Kenya’s renowned wildlife heritage in the Masai Mara National Reserve.

The tour also allows the students to explore the complex challenges faced by the traditional Masai communities living in wildlife protected areas.

Students are encouraged to discuss with their hosts – the local Masai's about the intricate relationship that exists between a traditional society that has managed to fend off the beckoning of westernization and state machinery that seeks to embrace westernization at all costs.

Our 3 days short students safari travels through the Great Rift Valley and on to their accommodations located in Kenya's premier wildlife reserve—the Masai Mara. Explore diverse wilderness crossing rolling plains spotted with famous acacia trees.

Your game drives are spread out over all 3 days, with excellent chances of seeing the Big 5 – lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant and rhino.

The varied wildlife and natural environment, in addition to the culture of the local Masai people, come together to provide a spectacular private safari experience.

 3 Days Masai Mara Students Educational Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara Game Reserve
Our 3 Days Masai Mara Students Educational Safari departs from Nairobi in the morning after breakfast. After a short briefing, your safari adventure will start immediately you board the safari vehicle.

You will drive overland to the floor of the Great Rift Valley and the iconic savannah wilderness alive with Masai people and wildlife living together to the famous Masai Mara Game Reserve.

Lunch at our lodge/ camp and relax followed by an evening game-drive. Masai Mara Game Reserve is characterized with vast acacia-dotted plains cut by ox-bow lakes, spectacular escarpments where move ‘Out of Africa’ was acted.

This enormous reserve is actually part of the vast Serengeti plains famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest’s migration and is home of the Big Five: Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo and Rhino.

The Mara Game Reserve–one of the greatest wildernesses of the world. Large mammals are varied, and easy to see. Residents among the Park's are: Masai Giraffe, Buffalo, Eland and thousand of plain game including Impala, Zebra, Topi, both Thomson's and grants Gazelles.

The animals of the Masai Mara are the star of the show, providing drama and intrigue against a backdrop of spectacular scenery.

You might notice a Masai Moran standing on one foot herding hundreds of cow or shepherding goats and sheep holding a single stick or a spear, that’s their way of living.

Day 2: Discover Masai Mara Game Reserve
Our full day in the Masai Mara Game Reserve will be spared for the search of the big cats of the Masai Mara and the spectacular view of the famous migration.

During game viewing remember to keep a sharp lookout, you may witness a dramatic hunt; a solitary leopard retrieving its kill from the high branches of an acacia tree or a herd of elephants protecting their young from predators.

The Mara is one of the richest wildlife spectacular scenery for the annual migration, the Masai Mara wildebeest migration is no considered to be one of the wonders of the world, especially as they cross the Mara River.

The reserve is also regarded as the most spectacular wildlife viewing area in Kenya with over 95 species of mammals and over 400 species of birds.

Game viewing is never dull in the Mara and patience is rewarded with unique sightings, such as a pride of lion stalking prey. All meals will be served at the camp/ lodge.

Day 3: Masai Mara – Drive to Nairobi
For your final day in the Masai Mara Game Reserve, an early morning game viewing drive is planned for you, or instead, you might decide you would like to sleep in.

Breakfast will be served at the camp/ Lodge, after which you will depart by road to Nairobi. The tour ends in Nairobi early in the afternoon. Your African Safari memories will last forever.

 Extend Your 3 Days Masai Mara Students Educational Safari to Lake Nakuru

Safari Extension to Lake Nakuru National Park
Your 3 Days Masai Mara Students Educational Safari is also extendable by a day to Lake Nakuru National Park for extra amount of money whereby you leave Masai Mara in the late morning for Lake Nakuru with lunch at Mai Mahiu or Naivasha town.

You arrive in Nakuru in the early evening for rest and overnight at a budget hotel. The next day you leave the hotel after breakfast for Nakuru National Park where you have a full day game drive leaving late afternoon for Nairobi.

Hot Air Balloon Ride in Masai Mara National Reserve
Optional activities on the 3 Days Masai Mara Students Educational Safari could include a Hot Air Balloon ride in Masai Mara. The rate per student is 490 US Dollars.

This is a life time experience where you soar high above the Masai Mara to get an early morning panoramic view of the world most loved natural game reserve.
